Restaurant in Ginza

We designed a renovation project for a restaurant in a tenant building in Ginza. The plan was to use bent copper plates repeatedly in each direction to diffuse warm colored light as a reflector for lighting. While keeping the illumination level low to suit the clientele and the context of Ginza 7-chome, the dull reflected light fills the space unevenly to create a glamorous atmosphere.

The entrance is decorated with a third-order curved surface using thread. The red line material goes back and forth between the curve that reflects light along the wall and the curve that passes through various equipment on the ceiling.
